The Licence Manager give access to the features used to monitor and administer the BIM or CADMeasure licences. Whilst no special permissions are needed to access these features within the software, all users must have read and write permissions to the CADMeasure licence folder (detailed below).
To access the Licence Manager, perform the following steps:
Select ribbon menu: Settings > group: Managers > option: Licences
The Licences dialog box is displayed.
The Available column indicates how many licences of the different modules have been purchased and the InUse column indicates how many are currently in use by users. The InUse number includes yourself.
The only row to consider is the CADMeasure row. The CADMeasure Digitising row is for legacy systems and is no longer used.
The number sequence is:
1. Total number of CADMeasure licences purchased
2. Number of BIMDesk licences purchased
3. Number of BIMMeasure licences purchased
4. Number of HOOPS licences
From Licenses dialog box, you can:
· Check the total number of licences available.
· Check the number of licences currently in use.
· Increase the number of licences.
· Examine details of each licence including current users and expiry dates (if appropriate).
· Book out network licenses for remote working.
