.A measurement Session is the file which contains a drawing/model/screenshot files to be measured and any measurements made from them.
As measurements are made, the file needs to be saved in order not to lose work done. Saving the session will also save the link to the attached drawing file(s) so that it is referenced in the session when it is re-opened.
Note: There is no automatic save function in CADMeasure. Users are advised to save at regular intervals.
To save a session for the first time, perform the following steps:
1. Select Save Session from the File
menu .
2. Browse to the desired save location
3. Type a name for the session.
4. Click OK.
The session will be saved with a .cmx file extension.
Save a Session
To save a session subsequently, perform the following steps:
Select Save Session
from the File menu .
The session will be saved with a .cmx file extension using the previous name given, effectively updating the saved session.
Save a Copy of Session
To save a copy of session with a new name, perform the following steps:
1. Select Save Session As from the File
menu
2. Browse to the desired save location
3. Type a name for the session
4. Click OK.
