System administrators can configure an external connector for the Constructionline application and perform the following tasks:
· Map questions in Constructionline to questions in Tradex Supplier Management.
· Map the regions in Constructionline to the coverage details in Tradex Supplier Management.
· Map the trade classifications in Constructionline to the trade classifications in Tradex Supplier Management.
To add the Constructionline external connector, perform the following steps:
1. Click Supplier Management Configuration > External connectors from the Administration tab.
The External connectors - List page is displayed.
2. Click the Add External Connector button at the top right of the page.
The External connectors - Create page is displayed.
3. Select the Constructionline External Connector option from the Connector type drop-down list.
4. Select the Enabled check box to enable this connector.
5. Enter the URL of the endpoint in the URL field.
6. Enter the username and password of the external connector in the Username and Password fields respectively.
7. Click the Choose file link next to the Constructionline Supplier Definition field to upload a file with supplier definitions.
8. Click the Choose file link next to the Constructionline Coverage Definition field to upload a file with details of Constructionline regions. This is to map the regions in Constructionline to the coverages in Tradex Supplier Management.
9. Click the Choose file link next to the Constructionline Trade Definition field to upload a file with Constructionline trades. This is to map the trade classifications in Constructionline to the trade classifications in Tradex Supplier Management.
10. Click Save.
