If supplier information is maintained in multiple data sources, you can configure the priority on which these data sources display the supplier information in Tradex. These data sources can be trading partners who hold supplier details or external companies that provide an external accreditation and validation service.
You can use the data source priority configuration to assign the top priority as well as the least priority to the available data sources.
To configure the data source priority, perform the following steps:
1. Click Supplier Management Configuration > Data source priority from the Administration tab.
The Data source priority - Edit page is displayed.
2. Select the data source that you want to add to the priority list from the Data source drop-down list.
3. Enter a value in the Priority field to indicate the level of priority of that data source. For example, a value of 1 indicates the topmost priority level.
4. Click the Add button to include the selected data source and its priority to the pane displayed.
5. Click Save to save the configured data source priority.
You can delete a data source from the data source priority list that you are maintaining.
To configure the data source priority, perform the following steps:
1. Click Supplier Management Configuration > Data source priority from the Administration tab.
2. The Data source priority - Edit page is displayed.
3. Click the Remove button corresponding to the data source that you want to delete.
4. Click the Confirm button to confirm the deletion of the selected data source.
