Measurements can be output from a Schedule by dragging and dropping selected measurements.
The Scheduling facility is a very simple method of collating measurements by common properties prior to exporting to either Excel Spreadsheets or Cost Planning Dim Sheets. The grouping facility further simplifies the extraction process by allowing organisation of schedules to a fine degree before extraction.
1. Open a spreadsheet in Excel
2. Organise the measurements in CADMeasure BIM by formatting and grouping the Schedule.
3. Click and drag one of the schedule groups to the Excel application window.
Note: You need to drag Total at the bottom of a group to get it properly formatted in the Excel sheet. For example, the Still Height total of 15700 has been dragged from Schedules panel to the Excel sheet as in the following screenshots.
The Excel spreadsheet window gets maximised.
4. Move the cursor to the appropriate field and release the mouse button.
The selected groups and sub-elements will be displayed as formatted in CADMeasure.
