Starting with the v19.4 release, incremental loading (loading on demand) is implemented to open Revit and IFC formats in BIMMeasure. The incremental loading optimises the performance and allow interaction with the models more quickly.
Note: You need to ensure that the Interactive Import check box is selected on the Windows ribbon for the incremental loading to work. For more information, see Interactive Import of Drawings.
When you open a Revit model in BIMMeasure, you need to note the following:
· The model takes awhile to completely load so a progress bar is displayed at the bottom right corner to show the progress.
· You can select
a view or click the Visibility
toggle buttonof the view on
the Model Contents tree for the
multi-view Revit files to load a view dynamically. Revit drawings with
single view will be opened automatically and does not need to be selected
from the Model Contents
tree.
· When you are comparing two Revit drawings, the comparison will show only the views that have completed loading. You may need to wait for the model to be completely loaded before starting the comparison process.
· If a view is accessed from the Model Contents tree for the first time in BIMMeasure, incremental loading is used to load that view.
Note: When a view of a Revit drawing is being loaded, and you try to select another view, you may need to wait for the current view to complete before the selected view begins to load.
